Holly Jolly Blog Hop

Windy Poplars

Here's the deal: Kristin, Amber, and Natalie are all co-hosting this awesome virtual open house.  If you're here reading this then you can link up at the bottom of one of their pages....and they are all sharing awesome party recipes.

Here's one of my favorite party recipes...

Graham Cracker Pralines

1 cup of butter - not margarine (2 sticks)
2 cups of light brown sugar (1 box)
Mix the above in a saucepan over medium heat.  Allow to boil for 3 minutes, stirring continuously.
Place graham crackers on a foil lined cookie sheet.  Pour and spread the brown sugar mixture over the crackers and sprinkle with chopped pecans.
Bake in a preheated 400 degree oven for 5 minutes.
Allow to cool and enjoy!  They are FANTASTIC!!

  1. I've had these at parties Jo, but never knew how to make them! How easy! Oh, and you're right, they ARE delicious...quite addictive actually :-). Thanks for joining in the blog hop today! We're thrilled to have you!

  2. I've certainly eaten my fair share of these wonderful treats, but I've never actually made them myself. They look easy enough - don't know why I've hesitated all these years. Thanks for giving me the motivation to make them!
