Secondhand Lions

The girls and I were having a late breakfast this morning and caught the middle to end of one of my all-time favorite movies, Secondhand Lions.  No matter how many times I watch this film, I never get tired of it.  I just love it.....

The quote below is part of Hub McCann's famous 'what every boy needs to know about being a man 'speech.  These words are honest and thought-provoking....they are words we all need to live by, whether we are man, woman, or child.
"Sometimes the things that may or may not be true are the things that a man needs to believe in the most: that people are basically good; that honor, courage, and virtue mean everything; that power and money, money and power mean nothing; that good always triumphs over evil; and I want you to remember this, that love, true love, never dies... No matter if they're true or not, a man should believe in those things because those are the things worth believing in." -- Robert Duvall in Secondhand Lions

It's that kind of day....

Women are Angels....and when someone breaks our wings....

We simply continue to fly .....

.... on a broomstick...

We are flexible like that...
