* when I get to spend time with my children.

* that it's FRIDAY!!!

* for supportive parents at school.

* for consistency of rules.

* that I'm not easily bored...

* that Youtube has so many songs/videos from my childhood and teen years....good memories!
* for the beautiful world God has given us.

* for my generous husband....ILY!

My Happy List

Photobucket
I love linking up with Mamarazzi and tell everyone what I'm happy about...

I'm happy...
because yesterday was my sweet, hard-working husband's birthday.  He's now 3 years older than I am....for the next 3 days anyway!
Lawren put the candles on Chuck's pineapple upside down cake...
V2 for 52!!  LOL

I'm happy...
that I was able to prepare Low Country Boil (Frogmore Stew) for him and his mama, sister, and niece.  We all had a good time celebrating together.
I'm happy...
to begin my second "Giving Thanks Challenge" hosted by Leah over at South Breeze Farm.

I'm happy...
because the transmission on the truck was still under warranty and we do not have to park it or pay to have it fixed...

I'm happy...
that one of my students went trick-or-treating last night and brought me a few Tootsie roll minis!  Thanks Jose'!
I'm happy...
because my sweet, sweet niece sent me a Snoopy birthday card, and wrote a touching little note inside.

I'm happy...
that Jesus loves me.

Giving Thanks Challenge 2011

http://southbreezefarm.blogspot.com/
I'm so happy that Leah over at South Breeze Farm is hosting the
Giving Thanks Challenge
again this year.

Please go check out her blog, make the commitment to link up everyday during the month of November, and tell everyone for what or for whom your are most thankful.

I'm sure you will not regret participating.  While our family has its own minor trials and tribulations, taking a few minutes daily to reflect on our blessings is well worth the time and energy!

2010 Giving Thanks Challenge

http://southbreezefarm.blogspot.com/2010/10/2010-giving-thanks-challenge.html
When I heard about the Giving Thanks Challenge hosted by South Breeze Farm, I just knew that I had to participate.  I have so much in my life to be thankful for.  Often times, things that I take for granted are the biggest blessings of all.

So I am going to dive into this.  I will keep a running tally on my right-hand sidebar.  I may do a blog post here and there, as the Lord leads if I feel there is something that I want to share more about.

Would you consider joining in this challenge?  He is so good and I would love to hear of His goodness towards you in these next 30 days.  Be sure and visit South Breeze Farm to find out more and to link up.
Oh give thanks to the Lord; call upon his name;
make known his deeds among the peoples!
Sing to him, sing praises to him;
tell of all his wondrous works!
(Psalm 105:1-2)
