Pets

Sadly, I don't have any current pictures of our pets, but here's a brief narrative of our animal kingdom....
(11-10-10) I took a few pics of the puppies.... :)
Spanky and Lemon are beagles. My principal gave them both to us. He is a rabbit hunter and he had no need for either of them....they refused to hunt! His loss was our gain! Both are beautiful, tri-color dogs with sweet dispositions and loud, longing howls. We really love them both!

Ricky Bobby is a rescue dog....a border terrier as far as we can figure. Someone abandoned two mama dogs and eight puppies, and our friend Carol took them in. She tried very hard, using Facebook and word or mouth, to find homes for all 10 of the dogs. We were lucky enough to get a tiny, wire-haired, white male. He is precious and gets along well with the bigger boys.
Lastly, MJ brought home another stray the other day.....a very, very small black puppy that she found along a roadside in McColl. From the looks of this puppy, she was not yet even ready to leave her mama. I told MJ no, no, no, no, she couldn't keep her, but, needless to say, she's still here and has a name..."Izzy." MJ is being very attentive and taking good care of her, and hopefully it will last....if not, out into the yard she will go!
