1. Have you or a significant other ever used sex as a weapon?  Probably...against each other that is...holding out to get what they want...LOL


2. Tell us about the worst date you ever went on.  Worst ever was when I was in college and a guy and I went over to his friends' house to play cards....his friends were druggies and I freaked out!  I'd never been around such and was scared to death!!


3. If you were a god/goddess who would you be?  I would be the goddess of energy and effort!  Is there such a goddess??


4. What crime from history fascinates you the most?  I've passed through fascinations with Ted Bundy, BTK, and Jack the Ripper....not obsessed with any though...


5. Give us one random, but candid fact about you.  I'm a huge Wizard of Oz fan and can recite practically the entire movie....


6. Who or what makes you laugh until you're weak?  Silly things that MJ usually says make me laugh....


7. What is the most exciting adventure you’ve ever been part of?  Years ago, my sister and I drove cross country, from Charlotte, NC, to Berkeley, CA.  We took our time and and stopped in El Paso along the way.  It took us 5 days and was the trip of a lifetime!


8. Among the people you know, who would you choose to be able to read all your thoughts?  NO ONE!! 


9. How old were you when you realized that other people's families live totally differently from yours?  I was probably 15 or so....

Filll in the Blank Friday

1.   Fridays are       the day when I usually give quizzes to my students and then we chill for the rest of the period....aside from school, I try to plan very few activities for Fridays.. .

2.    My children, my husband, puppies, and chocolate    make me terribly happy.

3.  Something that inspires me is     colors in nature.... .

4.  If I had the day off today I would     sleep late, go out to eat lunch with my husband, read, and probably just hang out around the house with my family.

5.  If I had to put a label on my home decor style, I would say my style is    homey with a touch of clutter and dust.... :)

6.  Concerning politics I would say I'm       a person who votes for a person not a party....

7.  I'd like to go to       Garden City     so I could       lay on the beach, listen to the waves, and read a good book...

Today started out GREAT!

We slept late....and then slowly crept out of bed.

Our little Pip awaited us, smiling and wagging....

So sweet!

We've got big plans for our day...

We are going to ride over to Cheraw to...

* have lunch at the J&K....YUM!

* stop by Wal-Mart to pick up a few necessities....

 

Back to Bennettsville to...

* pick up prescriptions

* manicure at 3:00

* tanning for us three girls

Later this evening, Chuck and I are going to go to Hartsville to...

* see the match-up between Hartsville and Darlington

* enjoy supper at Applebee's

I'm loving that the varsity softball team won the region championship!

Go Lady DAWGS!  Playoff action begins next Thursday...

I'm loving that after unnecessarily fretting, I discovered that I had already made our beach reservations for the SCFA convention in June....I made them last July and had totally forgotten!  YAY me!!

I'm loving that I am finished with Water for Elephants, by Sara Gruen, and cannot wait for the movie to be released this Friday, April 22.  If you've not read this novel, pick it up...it's fun and vivid, yet very emotional....and an easy read. 

I'm loving that we only have ONE MORE DAY until spring break...

"I think I can, I think I can, I think I can..."

I'm loving that Easter is right around the corner.  My whole Christian faith is based on the fact that Jesus was crucified and died on the cross to save all of us, though we are unworthy and undeserving.  Then my Savior arose from the dead and ascended into heaven to prepare a place for us.  Praise, glory, and honor to our precious Lord!  Happy Easter everyone!

And, of course, I'm loving my sweet husband and my three wild and woolly teenagers...
